Cosmetic Surgery in Turkey: Provider and Safety Guide
Cosmetic surgery in Turkey should be assessed by the named procedure, surgeon and hospital rather than by country-level claims about price, technology or safety. Regulation and standards do not make every provider equivalent.
Start with an individual assessment
A consultation should review health, medicines, smoking, previous surgery, goals and alternatives—including no treatment. Combining procedures may increase anaesthetic time and recovery demands. A remote quotation is provisional until the treating surgeon confirms the plan.
Verify the provider
Revitalize patients should receive the full name of the currently contracted surgeon and hospital. Check current professional registration, relevant specialty, procedure-specific experience, anaesthesia arrangements, facility capability and the pathway for complications. JCI or another accreditation may provide information about a facility, but it does not guarantee an individual result.
Costs and travel
A written quotation should identify the operation, surgeon, hospital, anaesthesia, tests, planned stay, medicines, garments, reviews and exclusions. Country comparisons, percentage savings and all-inclusive labels can be outdated or omit important needs. Flights, accommodation and travel insurance are separate from clinical care.
Risks and recovery
Risks vary and may include bleeding, infection, blood clots, anaesthetic complications, scarring, altered sensation, asymmetry, wound problems and revision. Recovery, work, travel and final results are individual and should not be represented by a fixed table.
