Gynaecomastia Treatment Costs: Assessment and Options

Gynaecomastia treatment cost depends on the cause, anatomy and treatment plan. Male breast enlargement may involve glandular tissue, fat or both; it can also be related to medicines, hormones or another health condition.

Assessment before treatment

A clinician should review onset, pain, lumps, nipple or skin changes, medicines, anabolic steroids, alcohol, weight and relevant health conditions. New or one-sided changes require medical evaluation. The NHS gynaecomastia guide describes common causes and when to seek care.

Options

Depending on the cause, options may include observation, treating an underlying issue, adjusting a medicine only with the prescriber, weight management or surgery. Liposuction removes selected fat; excision addresses glandular tissue or skin. Some plans combine them.

Risks and recovery

Surgical risks include bleeding, infection, fluid collection, wound problems, altered nipple sensation, asymmetry, contour irregularity, visible scars, nipple or skin loss, blood clots, anaesthetic complications and revision. Recovery and compression vary. A masculine contour, confidence or best possible result cannot be guaranteed.

Quotation

A Revitalize quotation should name the contracted surgeon and hospital and state tests, operation, anaesthesia, garment, stay, follow-up and complication arrangements. Generic price tables are not personal quotations.
