Jalupro V-Lift in Turkey from South Africa: what it can realistically do
Jalupro V-Lift is an injectable skin booster containing hyaluronic acid, amino acids and peptides. It is used to improve hydration, firmness and elasticity, and it can give a mild lifting effect. It is not a facelift and does not add volume like a filler. This page explains what to expect and how it fits a trip from South Africa.
In short: Jalupro V-Lift is injected with fine needles in a 15 to 60 minute appointment, with little downtime. It is offered for mild sagging, loss of elasticity, fine lines and dry or dull skin. Changes build over three to four weeks and may last several months to about a year. Plans often involve several sessions a few weeks apart, so it is rarely a reason on its own to fly from South Africa.

What Jalupro V-Lift is
The solution combines hyaluronic acid for hydration, amino acids that support collagen production and peptides that support skin repair. It is used to strengthen the skin’s own structure rather than to fill it. It is sometimes applied using a seven-point technique, placing injections at set points on the face to support firmness.
Because it improves skin quality rather than adding volume, it is different from dermal fillers. It is one of the injectable options listed among our recovery boosters.
Where it is applied
- Cheeks
- Jawline
- Under the eyes
- Neck
- Décolletage
- Backs of the hands
For the eye area specifically there is also Jalupro Young Eye, a formula made for that delicate skin.
Who it suits
- Adults with mild to moderate loss of elasticity or mild sagging
- People with fine lines or dry, dull skin
- People who want a non-surgical option and accept that the change will be modest
Moderate or marked sagging of the jowls and neck is usually a matter for surgery, which is set out in our facial surgery guide. The practitioner will say which approach fits your skin.
Treatment and recovery
After a medical history review and skin assessment, the area is cleansed and a numbing cream is applied. The solution is injected into targeted areas with fine needles and gently massaged. Tell the practitioner about allergies, skin conditions, blood-thinning medicines and previous cosmetic treatments.
Mild redness, swelling, small injection marks and temporary sensitivity usually settle within a few days, and most people resume normal activities shortly afterwards. Protect treated skin from strong sun.
Changes develop gradually: improved hydration within about a week, increasing collagen activity after two weeks, and firmness becoming more noticeable within three to four weeks. Results may last from several months to about a year, and maintenance sessions may be recommended.
From Johannesburg or Cape Town it is around ten hours to Istanbul direct, then a short flight to İzmir; South Africans need an e-Visa, and Turkey is one hour ahead. Honestly, that journey only for a skin booster is hard to justify. It makes more sense alongside another treatment you were already planning in İzmir.
Ask before travelling how many sessions you would need and whether later sessions could be arranged with a practitioner in South Africa.
Risks
Possible side effects include temporary swelling, redness at the injection points, mild bruising and skin sensitivity. The treatment should only be given by a trained medical practitioner.
Results vary from person to person, and this is not a substitute for medical care.
Our treatment guarantee covers medical complications from treatment for one year, treated in İzmir at no charge (flights and accommodation are your own cost). It does not cover preferring a different look within what was discussed beforehand. See our complaints page and clinic facts.
Cost and cover
The cost of Jalupro V-Lift depends on the areas treated, the product, the number of sessions and what your package includes, all set out in your written plan. Medical schemes generally do not cover cosmetic treatment abroad and travel insurance usually excludes planned treatment, so check both.
What we will not do
We will not describe a skin booster as a non-surgical facelift, we will not book more sessions than you can attend, and we will not treat without an assessment. Other options are in our skin treatments guide for South African patients and the UK Jalupro V-Lift page.
