What a facelift in Turkey actually costs in 2026
Most pages that answer this question quote a headline number and stop. The number is the easy part. What decides what you actually pay is the technique, what the quote includes, and the cost of the week around the operation. Here is all three.

How to compare costs responsibly
Compare written, like-for-like quotations rather than relying on a competitor’s headline figure. Check the named surgeon and facility, procedure scope, anaesthesia, medicines, follow-up, accommodation, transfers, travel and the arrangements for complications or revision. Revitalize’s current published price list is the appropriate starting point for its own services.
The gap is real, and it is not a discount on the surgery. It comes from what it costs to run a hospital, employ staff and rent theatre time in İzmir versus central London, and from the exchange rate. It does not come from using a less qualified surgeon or a cheaper implant — and if a quote is dramatically below even Turkish norms, that is where you should start asking what has been left out.
What a quote should cover — and what it often does not
Two quotes that look £800 apart can be identical once you list what each contains. Before comparing numbers, get each provider to confirm in writing whether the price includes:
- Pre-operative blood tests and anaesthetic assessment
- The surgeon’s fee, the anaesthetist and theatre time
- Hospital nights and who stays with you
- Accommodation, and for how many nights, before and after surgery
- Airport and hospital transfers
- Medication, dressings and garments
- Post-operative checks and stitch removal before you fly
- Translation, if the surgeon does not consult in English

The costs that sit outside the quote
- Flights for you, and for anyone travelling with you.
- Time off work. A facelift is not a long-weekend procedure. Plan on being in Turkey for roughly a week to ten days and on not looking presentable for a while after that.
- Travel insurance that does not exclude planned surgery abroad — most standard policies do. Ask specifically.
- A contingency. If you cannot comfortably absorb an extra week of accommodation or a changed flight, the budget is too tight.
What we will not do to make the price look better
We will not quote a facelift before a surgeon has assessed you, we will not promise a result, and we will not proceed if the surgeon judges you are not a suitable candidate — several patients in our video interviews describe exactly that conversation. Cheapness is a poor reason to choose a surgeon and a worse reason to choose a country.
