For patients in South Africa
Full Face Rejuvenation Package 2 in Turkey from South Africa: deep plane facelift and both eyelids
Full Face Rejuvenation Package 2 is built around a deep plane facelift and treats the whole eye area, upper and lower lids, as well as the brow and neck. It suits faces where ageing shows in several layers at once. This page explains the five procedures, who the package suits and how to plan the trip from South Africa.
In short: Five procedures in one coordinated plan: deep plane facelift, neck lift, temporal lift, upper eyelid surgery and lower eyelid surgery. Compared with Package 1, it uses the deep plane technique and adds treatment for under-eye bags. It is a large operation, so your fitness for it and your flight date are the surgeon’s decision.

What the package includes
- Deep plane facelift — repositions deeper facial layers to treat mid-face descent, the folds from nose to mouth and the marionette lines, and to refine the jawline
- Neck lift — treats loose skin, muscle bands and fat under the chin
- Temporal lift — raises the outer brow and eases heaviness around the eyes
- Upper and lower eyelid surgery — removes or repositions excess upper lid tissue, and treats under-eye bags, puffiness and loose skin so the lower lid blends into the cheek
The original description is on the Full Face Rejuvenation Package 2 page; all facial procedures are in our facial surgery guide for South African patients.
Who it suits
People with ageing across the face, eyes and neck: sagging skin, volume loss or deep folds, plus drooping lids, under-eye bags or a lowered brow, who prefer one comprehensive plan to a series of separate operations. A detailed consultation assesses facial anatomy, skin quality and goals before anything is planned.
The operation and recovery
Five procedures in one plan mean one recovery instead of several, but a long general anaesthetic and swelling around the face and both eyelids. For the facelift and neck lift component, our pages give light activities within one to two weeks, swelling much reduced by two to four weeks and a final result over several months. Structured care before and after surgery is part of the plan.
Planning the trip from South Africa
- Flights: direct flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town to Istanbul take around ten hours, then a short domestic flight to İzmir
- Visa: South Africans apply for an e-Visa online before travelling; see the e-Visa guide
- Length of stay: the number of nights in Turkey is set in your written treatment plan once the surgeon has reviewed you; stay until the post-operative checks are done before the long-haul flight
- Fitness to fly: the surgeon decides when you can fly, so book a return ticket you can change
- Time difference: İzmir is one hour ahead of South Africa
- Cover: medical schemes generally do not cover elective surgery abroad, and travel insurance usually excludes planned treatment; check both
Follow-up at home
At home, the same team follows up by photograph, message and video call; give your GP the operation notes. Medical complications and clinically necessary revisions within one year are covered by our treatment guarantee; flights and accommodation for any repair remain your own cost. Facts about the clinic and surgeons are on the clinic facts page, and if something goes wrong you can use our complaints process.
What we will not do
We will not confirm a package before a board-certified surgeon has reviewed your photographs and history, we will not promise a result, and we will not operate if your health makes it unsafe. If your health means five procedures in one operation is not safe, we will tell you and plan fewer, even if that means a second trip.
Frequently asked questions
What does Full Face Rejuvenation Package 2 add compared with Package 1?
It uses a deep plane facelift and adds lower eyelid surgery for under-eye bags, puffiness and loose skin beneath the eyes.
Why a deep plane facelift?
It repositions the deeper layers responsible for sagging instead of tightening the skin alone, which supports a natural-looking and durable result.
How long will I need to stay in Turkey?
Your written treatment plan sets the number of nights after the surgeon has reviewed you. Stay until the checks are done, and book a return flight you can change.
Can I fly home with healing eyelids?
Only when the surgeon says you are fit to fly. Sunglasses help with bruising, and you should keep your head raised and drink water on the flight.
Does travel insurance cover this surgery?
Standard travel insurance usually excludes planned treatment abroad, and South African medical schemes generally do not cover elective cosmetic surgery. Check with both before booking.
