For patients in South Africa
Face Rejuvenation Mini Package in Turkey from South Africa: three lifts, one operation
The Face Rejuvenation Mini Package is the smallest of our combined facial packages. It brings together three lifting procedures for the cheeks, jawline, neck and outer brow, done in one operation in İzmir, aiming at a refreshed rather than different look.
In short: The mini package combines a deep plane facelift, a neck lift and a temporal lift. South Africans travel on an e-Visa, fly to Istanbul and connect to İzmir. The surgeon decides whether the combination is right for you and when you are fit to fly.

What the package includes
- Deep plane facelift — repositions the deeper muscle and fat layers of the face to lift sagging cheeks, soften the folds from nose to mouth and restore mid-face volume, with less tension on the skin
- Neck lift — treats loose neck skin, muscle bands and fat under the chin, so the jawline flows into the neck
- Temporal lift — raises the outer brow and temple to ease heaviness and open the eye area slightly
The full description is on the Face Rejuvenation Mini Package page, and every facial procedure is listed in our facial surgery guide for South African patients.
Who it suits
The package is often chosen by middle-aged women who see sagging, jowls or a looser neck and want a longer-lasting change than temporary treatments give. It does not treat the eyelids; if hooded upper lids bother you, one of the full face packages may fit better. A consultation confirms suitability and adjusts the plan to your anatomy.
The operation and recovery
A facelift with neck lift is usually done under general anaesthesia, with incisions around the ear and hairline. Combining the three lifts means one anaesthetic and one recovery, but a longer operation and more swelling than any one of them alone. For a facelift and neck lift, our pages give a return to light activities within one to two weeks, swelling that is much reduced by two to four weeks, and a final result that takes several months to show.
Planning the trip from South Africa
- Flights: direct flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town to Istanbul take around ten hours, then a short domestic flight to İzmir
- Visa: South Africans apply for an e-Visa online before travelling; see the e-Visa guide
- Length of stay: the number of nights in Turkey is set in your written treatment plan once the surgeon has reviewed you; stay until the post-operative checks are done before the long-haul flight
- Fitness to fly: the surgeon decides when you can fly, so book a return ticket you can change
- Time difference: İzmir is one hour ahead of South Africa
- Cover: medical schemes generally do not cover elective surgery abroad, and travel insurance usually excludes planned treatment; check both
Follow-up at home
At home, the same team follows up by photograph, message and video call; give your GP the operation notes. Medical complications and clinically necessary revisions within one year are covered by our treatment guarantee; flights and accommodation for any repair remain your own cost. Facts about the clinic and surgeons are on the clinic facts page, and if something goes wrong you can use our complaints process.
What we will not do
We will not confirm a package before a board-certified surgeon has reviewed your photographs and history, we will not promise a result, and we will not operate if your health makes it unsafe. A long journey is not a reason to add procedures that you do not need or that the surgeon judges unsafe to combine.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Face Rejuvenation Mini Package include?
A deep plane facelift, a neck lift and a temporal lift, done together in one operation in İzmir. It does not include eyelid surgery.
Will I look different after the mini package?
The aim is a refreshed version of your own face rather than a new one. The deep plane technique lifts deeper layers instead of pulling the skin tight, which helps keep your expression natural.
How soon can I fly home to South Africa?
The surgeon decides, based on how you are healing at your checks. Expect some swelling and bruising on the journey, and book a return ticket you can change.
Is the mini package enough if my eyelids are heavy?
Probably not on its own, because it does not treat the eyelids. The full face packages add eyelid surgery; the surgeon can advise which fits after reviewing your photographs.
Will my medical aid pay for this package?
South African medical schemes generally do not cover elective cosmetic surgery abroad, and standard travel insurance usually excludes planned treatment. Check with both before you book.
