Achieve a slimmer, more sculpted body with advanced liposuction techniques performed by experienced surgeons.

THE PROCEDURE

What is a liposuction?

Liposuction is a body contouring procedure that removes stubborn fat deposits from specific areas of the body to improve shape and proportion.

Unlike weight loss methods that simply reduce overall body mass, modern liposuction targets localized fat that does not respond to diet or exercise. Using advanced techniques, the surgeon carefully breaks down and removes fat cells through small, discreet incisions, helping to refine areas such as the abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, back, and under the chin. The result is a more balanced, sculpted silhouette with natural-looking definition.

At Revitalize in Turkey, every liposuction procedure is planned around your individual anatomy and aesthetic goals, combining surgical precision with the value and hospitality that make Turkey a leading destination for aesthetic surgery.

SUITABILITY

Are you a candidate for liposuction?

A liposuction may be right for you if you:

  • Notice stubborn fat deposits in areas such as the abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, back, or under the chin that do not respond to diet and exercise
  • Are in good general health and a non-smoker, or able to stop before surgery
  • Are close to your ideal body weight and want to improve body contours rather than achieve major weight loss
  • Have realistic expectations about a more sculpted, balanced body shape rather than a scale-based transformation

Candidacy is always confirmed after a medical review of your history, photos, and goals. Where liposuction alone isn’t the best option, we will honestly recommend an alternative or combined approach to achieve the most natural result.

RECOVERY

Liposuction recovery timeline

Days 1–3: Rest and limit movement, wearing your compression garment as instructed. Swelling, bruising, and fluid retention are at their peak during this period, and your dressings (and drains, if used) are checked and managed by our nursing team.

Days 4–7: You will gradually become more mobile while continuing to wear your compression garment day and night. Drain removal (if applicable) is typically carried out during this stage. Most patients are comfortable enough to fly home after 3-5 days, subject to surgeon approval.

Weeks 2–3: Swelling and bruising steadily improve, and light daily activities can usually be resumed. You should continue wearing your compression garment as advised, while avoiding strenuous exercise or heavy lifting.

Months 1–6: The body continues to refine and settle into its final shape. Any residual swelling gradually resolves, and results become smoother and more defined, especially when supported by a stable weight and healthy lifestyle.

SAFETY FIRST

Risks & safety

A liposuction is a well-established procedure, but like any surgery it carries risks, which we discuss openly during your consultation. These can include temporary swelling and bruising, numbness, contour irregularities, and — rarely — bleeding, infection, fluid accumulation (seroma), or changes in skin sensation.

We minimise risk by performing a full pre-operative health screening, using advanced surgical techniques tailored to your body type, and providing structured aftercare with 24/7 access to our medical team during your stay. Your surgeon will explain exactly how your individual risk profile is managed and what steps are taken to support a safe recovery.

5. Can liposuction be combined with other procedures?
