Breast Lift in Turkey: Planning, Risks and Costs

Breast lift surgery in Turkey, also called mastopexy, reshapes and raises breast tissue by removing selected skin and repositioning tissue and the nipple–areola complex. It is not defined by a discount percentage, and price alone cannot establish quality or suitability.

What affects the treatment plan

The surgeon should assess breast shape, skin, asymmetry, nipple position, general health, medicines, smoking and future pregnancy or weight-change plans. A lift does not necessarily add volume. An implant, fat transfer, reduction or no surgery may be discussed depending on the patient’s goals and anatomy.

Incisions and limitations

Incision patterns may be around the areola, vertical, or include a crease incision. The appropriate pattern depends on the degree of lift and tissue characteristics. Scars are permanent and their final appearance varies. Perfect symmetry, a particular cup size or a lasting emotional outcome cannot be guaranteed.

Risks and recovery

Risks include bleeding, infection, wound-healing problems, altered nipple or breast sensation, asymmetry, contour concerns, visible scars, loss of nipple or skin tissue, blood clots, anaesthetic complications and revision. Breastfeeding may be affected. Swelling, support garments, activity restrictions, travel and return to work are determined by the individual operation and recovery.

Costs and choosing care

A responsible quotation should identify what is included and be based on a clinical plan. Ask who will operate, which facility will be used, how implants are sourced if relevant, what aftercare is included and how complications are managed after travel. Historic prices and comparisons with unnamed foreign providers are not current quotations.
