Brow Lift Surgery: Techniques, Risks and Recovery

A brow lift repositions selected forehead and brow tissues. It may change brow position and soften some forehead lines, but it does not treat every cause of eyelid hooding or guarantee facial symmetry, confidence or a scar-free result.

Assessment and techniques

The surgeon should distinguish brow descent from excess eyelid skin and ptosis, and review hairline, forehead height, facial movement, dry eye, health and previous surgery. Endoscopic, temporal and open approaches have different incisions and limitations. Age alone does not determine the right technique.

Alternatives

Options may include no treatment, upper-eyelid surgery for the correct indication or selected non-surgical treatment. Botulinum toxin and energy devices do not reproduce a surgical lift and have separate risks and duration.

Risks and recovery

Risks include bleeding, infection, nerve injury, altered sensation, asymmetry, hair loss, visible scars, brow-position concerns, dry eye and revision. Anaesthesia, wound care, return to screens or work and exercise restrictions are individual. Monitoring claims and fixed percentages do not guarantee comfort or safety.

Real Revitalize patient experiences

“I recognise myself in the mirror again – that spark I thought I’d lost is back.”

“The ‘brow lift before and after’ change felt like ageing in reverse, but naturally. By month six, even my hairdresser thought I’d changed my skincare!”

These are individual Revitalize experiences and do not predict another patient’s result or timeline.
