Get a Brow Lift: Elevate Your Look
A brow lift changes the position of the brow and selected forehead tissues. It may suit some people with brow descent or asymmetry, but it cannot guarantee a younger appearance, confidence or a particular result.
Assessment and techniques
Planning should consider brow position, eyelids, hairline, facial movement, skin, health, medicines, smoking and previous procedures. Open, limited-incision, temporal and endoscopic approaches have different indications and scars; no technique is universally best.
Questions before surgery
- Which technique is proposed and why?
- Who is the named contracted surgeon and hospital?
- What change is realistic and what may remain asymmetric?
- What are the alternatives, risks and follow-up arrangements?
- What is included in the written quotation?
Risks and recovery
Risks include bleeding, infection, scarring, altered sensation, hair loss near incisions, asymmetry, nerve injury, brow-position change, eye symptoms and further surgery. Preparation and aftercare matter but do not establish a percentage reduction in risk or guarantee an outcome. Recovery varies.
