Start with the procedure, not the package price

Rhinoplasty may change selected nasal bone, cartilage or soft tissue. Septoplasty addresses a deviated septum when it contributes to obstruction, and septorhinoplasty may combine functional and external structural work. Revision surgery often has different technical and graft requirements.

What can affect the quotation?

• open or closed access and planned structural work;
• the need and source of cartilage or other graft material;
• the confirmed surgeon, anaesthesia and operating time;
• hospital stay, tests, medicines and postoperative reviews;

Ask Revitalize to confirm the proposed surgeon and hospital in writing before paying. Only a currently verified contracted doctor and facility should appear in the plan. Check the surgeon’s current Turkish professional registration, relevant plastic-surgery specialty training, rhinoplasty experience and permission to operate at the named hospital.

Verify the hospital’s current licence and any claimed accreditation for the actual treatment period. A foreign board name, marketing award, review score or use of advanced equipment does not replace verification of the operating surgeon and hospital.

Questions about surgical planning

Ask why an open or closed approach is proposed, what will be changed, where incisions will be placed and whether grafts may be used. Discuss previous injury or surgery, airway symptoms, medicines, allergies, nicotine use, bleeding and clot risk and expectations.

Imaging can support communication but cannot show a guaranteed final result. Before-and-after photographs illustrate selected cases and should not be used to promise the same outcome for another patient.

Risks and limitations

Potential complications include bleeding, infection, delayed healing, visible scars, altered sensation, prolonged swelling, asymmetry, contour irregularity, nasal obstruction, septal perforation, changes in smell, graft problems, anaesthetic complications, blood clots, dissatisfaction and revision surgery.

Functional improvement and cosmetic appearance cannot be guaranteed. Surgery does not necessarily treat allergy, chronic sinus disease, snoring or sleep apnoea. Perfect symmetry, an exact copied nose, invisible scars or a fixed recovery date are not responsible promises.

Recovery and travel

A splint, internal support or dressings may be used. Swelling, bruising, congestion, discomfort and temporary numbness may occur. Return to work, driving, exercise, swimming, glasses, flying and contact sport should follow individual instructions and clinical progress rather than an online timetable.

Confirm how long the surgeon expects you to remain in Turkey, when any splint or sutures are reviewed and how follow-up continues after returning home. Do not plan travel so tightly that a clinical delay cannot be accommodated.

Increasing pain, fever, discharge, worsening redness, persistent bleeding or a sudden change in breathing should be reported promptly. Heavy bleeding, chest pain, breathing difficulty, fainting or sudden leg swelling require urgent medical assessment.

What an itemised Revitalize quotation should show

• the named surgeon, procedure and contracted hospital;
• surgeon, anaesthesia and hospital fees;
• required tests, medicines, splints or dressings;
• included accommodation, transfers and interpreter support;
• planned postoperative reviews and remote follow-up;
