Days 1–3: Rest with the head elevated. Swelling and bruising peak; dressings and any drains are checked by our nursing team.
Days 4–10: Sutures are removed in stages. Most patients feel comfortable enough to fly home after 5-7 days, with surgeon approval.
Weeks 2–3: The majority of visible bruising and swelling settles; many patients return to light social activity.
Months 1–6: Residual tightness softens and incision lines continue to fade as the final, natural result emerges.
