Face Lift Cost in the UK: Revitalize Quotation Guide
The cost of a facelift in the UK or abroad cannot be compared safely using one headline price. The planned operation, surgeon, hospital, anaesthesia, tests, aftercare and policy for complications all affect the complete cost.
This Revitalize guide does not quote or promote outside clinics, lenders or insurers. It explains how to compare a written UK proposal with an individual Revitalize quotation without assuming that lower cost means equivalent treatment.
What a facelift quotation should identify
- The named surgeon and their professional registration.
- The exact operation and whether face, neck, eyelids, fat grafting or another procedure is included.
- The named hospital or surgical facility and anaesthetist.
- Pre-operative assessment and clinically required tests.
- Implants, products, medicines, dressings or garments where relevant.
- Inpatient care, follow-up appointments and aftercare.
- The policy for complications, revision and an extended stay.
Request an itemised figure rather than relying on “from” pricing or an all-inclusive label. Read the Revitalize facelift quotation guide for related planning information.
Why prices vary
A limited facelift, full face-and-neck lift and revision procedure involve different operating times and complexity. Health, anatomy, previous surgery and the need for combined treatment can also change the plan. Location and business overheads affect price but do not prove quality.
The surgeon should explain why a technique is recommended and what it cannot achieve. A higher fee, prestigious address, NHS employment history or professional membership does not by itself guarantee competence or an outcome.
Costs outside the operation
Allow for consultations, tests, prescriptions, recovery accommodation, transfers, flexible flights, a companion, time away from work and local follow-up. If travel or healing is delayed, additional accommodation and transport may be needed.
Aftercare may include wound reviews, dressing changes, removal of sutures or drains and remote checks. Optional massage, skincare, laser or injectable treatment should not be presented as necessary unless there is a clear clinical reason.
Medical risks matter more than price
Facelift risks include bleeding or haematoma, infection, fluid collection, delayed healing, skin loss, scarring, numbness, facial nerve injury, asymmetry, hairline change, blood clots, anaesthetic complications and revision surgery. The quotation should not minimise these risks or imply that aftercare can prevent every complication.
No provider can guarantee a natural result, a fixed lifespan, a specific recovery time or freedom from revision. Unsupported percentages and anonymous testimonials should not be used to justify a price.
UK funding, insurance and credit
This page does not provide eligibility, insurance, lending or financial advice. Cosmetic surgery is generally self-funded, but individual circumstances and policies differ. Confirm any NHS pathway with the NHS and any coverage directly with the insurer before making a decision.
Borrowing increases the total financial commitment and may continue even if treatment is postponed or the result is disappointing. Review the regulated lender’s terms independently; Revitalize does not recommend a lender or promise approval.
Comparing UK and Turkey proposals
Compare the same procedure and complete care pathway, not only currency totals. Confirm the named surgeon, hospital resources, anaesthetic arrangements, length of stay, fitness-to-fly review, emergency support and follow-up after returning home.
Only a surgeon and hospital specifically confirmed by Revitalize should be treated as contracted. Request their names in writing before paying or booking travel. A clinic, finance company or insurer mentioned elsewhere is not part of the Revitalize pathway.
Related treatment choices
A facelift may not address every neck or skin concern. Review the Revitalize information on neck-lift quotation factors and non-surgical neck treatment. Non-surgical treatments have their own costs, limitations and risks and should not be described as guaranteed substitutes for surgery.

Frequently asked questions
What is the average facelift cost in the UK?
Published figures vary and may not describe the same operation or care pathway. Obtain a current individual quotation from a verified provider.
Is the cheapest quotation the best value?
Not necessarily. Compare clinical scope, providers, facilities, risks and aftercare as well as price.
Does a facelift save money compared with non-surgical treatment?
There is no universal break-even point. The treatments address different concerns and neither duration nor future treatment can be guaranteed.
How do I verify a Revitalize quotation?
Request an itemised quotation naming the contracted surgeon and hospital before paying.
