Your Medical Travel Experience in Turkey with Revitalize in Turkey
At Revitalize in Turkey, we believe a well-organised medical journey begins long before you arrive in Turkey. With more than 21 years of experience in medical tourism, our approach is built around transparency, personal attention and careful coordination at every stage of your journey.
Your medical needs are assessed by the qualified doctors and healthcare professionals responsible for your treatment, who determine the appropriate treatment options based on your individual circumstances, medical history and goals.
The Revitalize in Turkey team coordinates the journey around your medical care — from your initial enquiry and treatment arrangements to airport transfers, appointments, transportation and accommodation at Mandarin Grove Retreat.
Our role is to make your experience clear, comfortable and well organised, while all medical assessments, treatment decisions and clinical care remain in the hands of the qualified healthcare professionals responsible for your treatment.
Personalised Consultation & Treatment Planning
When you first contact Revitalize in Turkey, we begin by gathering the information needed for the appropriate medical professional to assess your case. Depending on the treatment you are considering, this may include photographs, your medical history, previous treatment information or relevant medical records.
This information is shared with the surgeon, doctor or specialist responsible for assessing your case. Based on their professional evaluation, they can recommend an appropriate treatment plan tailored to your individual needs, expectations and medical circumstances.
Our approach is centred around clear information, realistic expectations and responsible treatment planning. We do not encourage unnecessary procedures, and all medical recommendations and decisions remain with the qualified healthcare professionals responsible for your care.
Throughout This Process:
Your dedicated Revitalize in Turkey coordinator is available to answer questions about your journey, appointments, accommodation, transportation and other practical arrangements.
Where appropriate, a video consultation with the relevant doctor or medical professional can be arranged so you can discuss your treatment directly and ask medical questions before travelling.
You will be asked to complete a Medical History Form, which is reviewed by the appropriate medical team. Your doctor will advise you about any required tests, medications or changes that may be necessary before your procedure.
For dental patients, appropriate imaging may be requested before treatment planning. Where applicable, we can coordinate advanced dental imaging through CT Dent, allowing the treating dental professional to review the necessary scans before your arrival in Turkey.
This process helps ensure that the medical assessment remains with the qualified healthcare professional, while Revitalize in Turkey facilitates communication and coordinates the practical elements surrounding your treatment journey.
Arrival in İzmir & Private Transfer
Upon your arrival at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport, a private driver will welcome you and take you to your arranged accommodation, typically Mandarin Grove Retreat in the peaceful surroundings of Urla.
From this point onwards, the Revitalize in Turkey team coordinates the practical arrangements surrounding your visit, including transportation between Mandarin Grove and the doctors, clinics or hospitals involved in your treatment.
This means you can settle into your accommodation and enjoy a comfortable start to your stay while your upcoming appointments and transfers are already organised.
Treatment Phase
Your treatment takes place at the appropriate hospital or clinic and is performed by the qualified surgeon, doctor or specialist responsible for your care, according to the treatment plan agreed with you.
Depending on the treatment you have chosen, your journey may include:
Face Lift Treatment Package
Smile Makeover Treatment Package
Trifocal Lens Replacement Treatment Package
Hair Transplant Treatment Package
Before proceeding, your medical team will complete any necessary assessments, discuss the proposed treatment with you and provide the appropriate information regarding the procedure, potential risks, expected outcomes and follow-up.
All procedures, medical assessments and clinical decisions are carried out by the qualified healthcare professionals and medical facilities responsible for your treatment.
Revitalize in Turkey’s role is to coordinate the practical elements surrounding your medical journey, while your doctor, clinic or hospital remains responsible for your medical care.

Day 2: Pre-Surgery Checks & Treatment
On the day of your procedure, you will be transferred to the hospital or clinic responsible for your treatment, where the appropriate medical team will complete the necessary pre-operative assessments.
Depending on your procedure, medical history and the requirements of your doctor, these assessments may include blood tests and other investigations considered necessary to determine your suitability for the planned procedure.
You will also meet your surgeon in person before surgery. This provides an opportunity for your surgeon to complete their final assessment, confirm the treatment plan, discuss any remaining questions and complete the appropriate consent process.
Once the medical team is satisfied that you are ready to proceed, your scheduled surgery or treatment will take place.
The Revitalize in Turkey team coordinates the practical arrangements surrounding your treatment, including transportation and scheduling, while all medical assessments, decisions and procedures remain the responsibility of the qualified healthcare professionals involved in your care.
Support During Your Hospital Stay
During your time at the hospital, a bilingual Revitalize in Turkey chaperone can assist with communication and the practical aspects of your hospital experience, helping you understand arrangements and communicate with hospital staff when required.
Your chaperone does not provide medical or nursing care. All clinical care, medication, medical monitoring and treatment are provided by the hospital’s qualified healthcare professionals.
If your procedure requires an overnight hospital stay, you will remain under the care of the hospital’s medical and nursing team. Depending on your procedure and individual circumstances, this may involve one or more nights in hospital.
Your surgeon and hospital team will determine when you are medically ready to leave the hospital. Once you have been discharged, the Revitalize in Turkey team coordinates your onward transportation, typically to Mandarin Grove Retreat, where you can enjoy comfortable accommodation and peaceful surroundings between your scheduled medical follow-up appointments.
Your Stay, Medical Follow-Ups & Support
Following discharge from the hospital or clinic, you can return to Mandarin Grove Retreat, where you will have a peaceful and comfortable place to stay between your scheduled medical appointments.

Cosmetic procedures: 5–10 days
Dental treatments: 5–7 days
Eye procedures: 3–5 days
These timeframes refer to the typical recommended stay in Turkey for each treatment package and may vary depending on the specific procedure, your scheduled appointments and your doctor’s recommendations.

Private transportation to and from your medical appointments

When a medical follow-up is required, the Revitalize in Turkey team coordinates your appointment and transportation to the appropriate clinic or hospital and back to Mandarin Grove. Your doctor or medical team will assess your progress, provide any necessary medical advice and determine whether further appointments are required.
Between appointments, our hospitality team remains available to assist with the practical aspects of your stay and help make your time at Mandarin Grove as comfortable and well organised as possible.
Mandarin Grove is an accommodation and hospitality retreat, not a hospital, clinic or medical facility. Mandarin Grove staff do not medically monitor your progress, administer or advise on medication, perform wound care or provide post-operative treatment. All medical assessments, clinical follow-up and treatment decisions remain the responsibility of the qualified healthcare professionals overseeing your care.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How does the consultation and treatment planning process work?
Your journey begins with an initial consultation, during which we ask for relevant information such as photographs, your medical history and details about the treatment you are considering.
This information is shared with the appropriate surgeon, doctor or specialist, who reviews your case and provides their professional assessment and treatment recommendations. Based on this medical evaluation, a personalised treatment proposal can then be prepared around your individual needs and goals.
All diagnoses, assessments and treatment recommendations are made by the qualified healthcare professional responsible for your care.
2. What information do I need to provide before my treatment?
Before travelling, you will be asked to complete a Medical History Form providing information about your health, previous procedures, current medications and other relevant medical details.
This information is reviewed by the appropriate medical team. If medications need to be paused or adjusted, or if additional investigations are required before your procedure, your doctor or medical team will provide the appropriate instructions.
You should never stop or change prescribed medication unless instructed to do so by a qualified healthcare professional.
3. What happens on the day of my procedure?
On the day of your treatment, private transportation will take you to the appropriate hospital or clinic.
Depending on your procedure and individual circumstances, the medical team may perform pre-operative tests such as blood tests, an ECG or other necessary investigations.
You will also meet your surgeon or treating doctor in person for a final assessment, confirmation of the treatment plan and an opportunity to ask any remaining questions.
Once the medical team determines that you are ready to proceed, your treatment will take place at the hospital or clinic under the care of the qualified healthcare professionals responsible for your procedure.
4. Is recovery painful?
The level of discomfort varies considerably according to the procedure and the individual. Some swelling, bruising, tightness or discomfort may be expected following certain treatments.
Your doctor will explain what is normally expected following your particular procedure and, where appropriate, prescribe medication to help manage discomfort.
If you experience symptoms that concern you, the Revitalize in Turkey team can help you contact your medical team or arrange transportation to the appropriate medical facility. Any medical assessment or advice will be provided by your doctor or another qualified healthcare professional.
5. What is included during my stay at Mandarin Grove?
Depending on your treatment package, your stay at Mandarin Grove Retreat may include:
Private accommodation
Half-board dining with breakfast and dinner
24/7 practical and hospitality assistance
Private transportation to scheduled medical appointments
Coordination of appointments and transfers
Assistance contacting your doctor or medical team when required
Peaceful indoor and outdoor spaces in the surroundings of Urla
Mandarin Grove is an accommodation and hospitality retreat rather than a medical facility. Medical examinations, wound care, medication advice and clinical follow-up are provided separately by your doctor, clinic or hospital.
6. How long will I need to stay in Turkey?
The recommended length of stay depends on your procedure and the advice of your medical team. For many surgical treatment packages, patients remain in Turkey for approximately 5–10 days, although some treatments require shorter or longer stays.
This allows time for your procedure and the scheduled medical follow-up appointments that need to take place before you return home.
If you would like to remain at Mandarin Grove for longer, we will be happy to accommodate an extended stay subject to availability.
7. Can I fly after surgery?
This depends on the procedure, your individual circumstances and your progress following treatment.
Your surgeon or medical team will advise you when it is appropriate for you to fly. You should follow their recommendations rather than making travel decisions based solely on a predetermined number of days after surgery.
Revitalize in Turkey can coordinate your practical travel arrangements around the recommendations provided by your medical team.
8. What happens after I return to the UK?
Our communication with you does not end when you return home.
Where appropriate, the Revitalize in Turkey team may ask you to provide progress photographs or updates at specific stages. These can be forwarded to the surgeon or medical team responsible for your treatment for their review.
We can then help relay the feedback and recommendations provided by your doctor and facilitate further communication if you have questions or concerns.
Revitalize in Turkey does not remotely diagnose or medically monitor your progress. Medical assessments and recommendations remain the responsibility of the qualified healthcare professionals involved in your care.
If you develop an urgent or significant medical concern after returning home, you should seek appropriate local medical attention rather than waiting for a remote response.
9. Why might I need to stay in Turkey for 5–10 days?
For many surgical procedures, remaining in Turkey for several days allows your scheduled post-operative examinations to take place before you travel home.
During this period, your surgeon or medical team may assess your progress and, depending on your procedure, perform any necessary follow-up examinations or other clinical care.
Between these appointments, you can stay at Mandarin Grove Retreat, enjoying comfortable accommodation and peaceful surroundings while Revitalize in Turkey coordinates transportation to and from the appropriate medical facilities.
The exact duration should always be determined according to your procedure and your doctor’s recommendations, rather than assuming that every patient requires the same length of stay.
10. When can I return to normal activities or work?
Recovery times vary considerably depending on the procedure, the nature of your work and your individual progress.
Some patients may be able to resume certain light everyday activities relatively quickly, while more extensive procedures can require a significantly longer period before returning to work, exercise or other normal activities.
Your surgeon or medical team will provide personalised instructions regarding activities, exercise, work, driving and other restrictions relevant to your procedure.
Following those individual medical recommendations is more appropriate than relying on a general recovery timetable.
