Revitalize in Turkey has been treating British patients in Izmir since 2004. Between April 2014 and August 2025, nine of those patients told their stories to the UK press — in The Sun, the Daily Mail, the Mirror, Woman’s Own, Essex Live, Surrey Live and through the Need To Know agency. Woman’s Own alone has covered three of our patients, across 2014 and 2016.

Which UK newspapers and magazines have written about Revitalize in Turkey?

How long has Revitalize in Turkey been treating British patients?
Since 2004. This is not our own claim: in April 2014 The Sun reported that the company “was founded ten years ago and treats about 300 British patients every year”, and that 80 per cent of its patients were British.
Are the reviews on this page independent?
Yes. The ratings come from Treatment Abroad, Trustpilot and Google — platforms we do not host, moderate or edit. The articles were written and published by the newspapers and magazines themselves. The only words on this page written by us are the summaries that introduce each source.
Did Revitalize in Turkey pay for this press coverage?
No. These are editorial articles, not advertising. One patient, Victoria Vigors, was given her package at a reduced price; both the Mirror and The Sun state this in their own reporting, and we repeat it on her card above. For the 2014 article, The Sun sent its own reporter, Jennifer Tippett, to Izmir to follow three patients through their surgery.
Which surgeons are named in the coverage?
Two. Dr Cenk Tokat, named in The Sun in 2014 as the surgeon who saw a patient at her UK consultation, and Professor Ahmet Seyhan, named by two separate patients in 2025 coverage. Both are listed on our doctors page.
Has a surgeon ever refused to operate?
Yes, twice, and both times it was reported in the press. Carol Watts had planned a face and neck lift on the same trip as her body surgery in 2016; she developed a chest infection and the team would not risk a second anaesthetic, so it was postponed. Victoria Vigors told the Mirror, The Sun and the Daily Mail that her blood count was too low for breast implants to be carried out alongside a lift in March 2025, so the surgeon postponed them to a later visit.
Can I meet a surgeon in the UK before travelling?
Yes, and patients have been doing so for over a decade. The Sun reported UK consultation days in London and Manchester in 2014. Carol Watts met her surgeon in London in November 2015; Nikki Jessiman was first seen at a London consultation before travelling. Our surgeons still hold UK meetings today.
