About Dr. Özgün Akgül
Dr. Özgün Akgül qualified as a Doctor of Medicine in 2007, began specialist training in General Surgery in 2009 and qualified as a General Surgery Specialist in 2014. He was awarded the Turkish Surgical Proficiency Certificate in 2015.
After qualification, he worked in public and private hospital settings and developed a focus on obesity and metabolic surgery. He has practised independently in Izmir since 2019.
