ABOUT
About Dr. Cenk Tokat
Dr. Cenk Tokat is an aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgeon whose professional career combines extensive clinical experience with academic involvement in cosmetic surgery. He completed his basic medical training at Ankara University School of Medicine, qualifying as a Doctor of Medicine in 1999, then went on to complete his specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Ege University School of Medicine in Izmir, finishing in 2005.
His specialist training gave him an unusually broad anatomical foundation. Alongside plastic surgery, he trained in craniofacial surgery and microsurgery, and during a general surgery rotation in the organ transplantation clinic he took part in more than a hundred liver transplantation procedures — demanding work that builds precision and tissue-handling skills directly relevant to aesthetic surgery.
Since qualifying, Dr. Tokat has worked at the Ege University Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Private Buca Medical Centre, and Private Gazi Hospital, and completed his military service at Girne Military Hospital. He has served patients in his own private practice in Izmir since 2009.
His approach to cosmetic surgery emphasises natural-looking outcomes, individualised treatment planning and patient safety. Participation in international educational programmes and congresses allows him to bring contemporary surgical techniques and global best practices into his work — a treatment philosophy that balances surgical precision, functional preservation and aesthetic harmony.
