Fox Eye Surgery in Turkey
Getting quite popular lately, fox eye surgery is one of the surgical procedures to change the shape of the eyes. The surgery involves angling the eyebrows a bit more upwards, pulling the outer corner of the eyes up. With a fox eye surgery, the tired and droopy look of the eyelids can be corrected to restore a younger appearance on the patient’s face.
Fox Eye Surgery Procedure
The procedure is mostly done for aesthetical reasons. Even though it is only a small lifting of the eyebrow and outer corner of the eyes, it can improve the patient’s look dramatically. The patients who would like more foxy, Asian-looking eyes can benefit from the fox eye surgery. It can be combined with other facial procedures to rejuvenate the overall look of the face.
The fox eye surgery necessitates a few incisions, one on the outer corner of the eyes, one above the hairline on the temples, and one on the point where the eyebrow curves down. All the incisions will be hidden by the natural folds of the skin or the hair, so they will not be obvious once healed.
The aim of this article is to give you a general information about the surgical intervention in question. You need to make more research about possible complications and risks of this selected procedure in order to make an informed decision. Please note that complications occur more frequently with patients who are obese, smoke, and have a history or lung or other chronic underlying medical conditions.
Smokers are recognized to have a significantly higher risk of post operative wound healing problems with a subsequently higher potential of infection as well as operative and post operative bleeding. Patients should discontinue smoking for two weeks before and two weeks after surgery. Although it helps to stop smoking before and after surgery, this does not completely eliminate the increased risks resulting from long term smoking. Smoking also has a long term adverse effect on the skin and ageing process.
