ABOUT

About Dt. İbrahim Barış Özgür

Dt. İbrahim Barış Özgür is a dentist whose professional career now spans more than three decades across general, restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 1990 and has since built his practice across both public healthcare institutions and private clinics, treating a broad range of dental conditions while developing particular focus in aesthetic dentistry, implantology and smile rehabilitation.

A defining moment in his career came in 1998, when he completed advanced implantology training in the Netherlands. The timing matters: implant dentistry was still consolidating as a discipline in the late 1990s, and Northern European centres were among the field’s leaders. That training allowed him to bring advanced implant technique into his practice at a point when few practitioners in the region were doing so — and it has underpinned his implant and full-mouth rehabilitation work ever since.

Over a career of this length, he has worked through the entire modern evolution of dentistry — from the era of metal-ceramic restorations to today’s zirconia, digital workflows and implant-supported rehabilitation. That perspective is genuinely distinguishing: he has seen which techniques and materials have lasted, and which have not.

He also treats patients travelling from across Europe and other international markets, and has developed treatment protocols suited to their needs — efficient scheduling, thorough consultation, and clear communication throughout.

APPROACH

Treatment Philosophy

1. Clinical Precision- Detailed assessment of oral health, facial harmony, function and aesthetic goals before any treatment plan is drawn up.

2. Natural-Looking Results- Natural proportions and harmonious tooth shapes that complement facial features, rather than uniform artificial results.

3. Long-Term Oral Health- Aesthetic work planned around lasting function — preserving healthy tooth structure remains the priority.
