Buttock Implant Surgery in Turkey

A buttock implant procedure is one of the most effective surgical options for enhancing the size, shape, and projection of the buttocks. By placing specially designed silicone implants, the procedure creates a fuller, rounder, and more balanced silhouette.

A buttock implant in Turkey starts from £5,650. Most patients fly home after 5–7 days, with their final results becoming visible over the following months and long-lasting, provided a stable weight is maintained.

THE PROCEDURE

What is a buttock implant?

A buttock implant procedure enhances the size, shape, and projection of the buttocks using specially designed silicone implants to create a fuller, rounder, and more balanced silhouette.

Unlike a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), which relies on transferring your own fat, buttock implants provide reliable volume for patients who do not have enough excess fat for fat grafting or who want a more predictable increase in projection. The procedure is particularly effective for naturally flat buttocks, correcting asymmetry, or enhancing body proportions with long-lasting results.

At Revitalize in Turkey, every buttock implant procedure is tailored to your individual anatomy, lifestyle, and aesthetic goals. Our experienced plastic surgeons use advanced techniques to achieve balanced, natural-looking results while prioritising safety, combining expert surgical care with the exceptional value and hospitality that have made Turkey a leading destination for cosmetic surgery.

SUITABILITY

Are you a candidate for buttock implant surgery?

A buttock implant surgery may be right for you if you:

  • Have naturally flat or under-projected buttocks and would like greater volume and shape

  • Do not have enough excess body fat to be a suitable candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)

  • Want a more defined, fuller, and balanced buttock contour

  • Are close to your ideal weight and able to maintain a stable weight after surgery

  • Are in good general health and a non-smoker, or able to stop before surgery

  • Have realistic expectations about the results and recovery

Candidacy is always confirmed after a medical review of your medical history, photos, and goals. If buttock implants are not the most appropriate option, we’ll honestly recommend an alternative procedure, such as a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) or fat grafting, based on your anatomy and desired outcome.

RECOVERY

Buttock implant recovery timeline

Days 1–3: Rest as much as possible and avoid putting direct pressure on your buttocks. Mild discomfort, swelling, and bruising are expected during this period, and your dressings and any drains (if used) will be monitored by our nursing team. You’ll be advised to sleep on your stomach or side to protect the implants.

Days 4–7: If drains have been placed, they are usually removed during this period. You’ll gradually become more mobile while continuing to wear your compression garment. Sitting should still be limited or done using a specialised cushion, and most patients are able to fly home after 5–7 days, subject to their surgeon’s approval.

Weeks 2–6: Swelling continues to improve, and you can gradually return to light daily activities. Strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, running, and lower body workouts should be avoided until your surgeon confirms it is safe to resume them. You’ll also continue to avoid prolonged pressure on the buttocks during the early stages of recovery.

Months 3–6: The implants settle into their final position, swelling resolves, and the buttocks achieve their final shape and projection. With a stable weight and healthy lifestyle, your results are long-lasting.

SAFETY FIRST

Risks & safety

A buttock implant procedure is well-established, but like any surgery, it carries risks, which we discuss openly during your consultation. These can include swelling, bruising, temporary numbness, fluid collection (seroma), delayed wound healing, and — more rarely — bleeding, infection, blood clots, implant displacement, implant rupture, or changes in skin sensation.

We minimise these risks by performing a comprehensive pre-operative health assessment, using meticulous surgical techniques, and providing structured aftercare with 24/7 access to our medical team throughout your stay. Your surgeon will explain your individual risk profile in detail and provide personalised guidance to support a safe recovery.

ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

What are buttock implants?

Buttock implants are solid silicone implants that are surgically placed to enhance the size, shape, and projection of the buttocks. They are designed for patients who want a fuller appearance but do not have enough body fat for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).

Who is a good candidate for buttock implants?

The best candidates are healthy adults who want to increase the size or improve the shape of their buttocks, have realistic expectations, and either do not have enough excess fat for fat transfer or prefer the predictable volume that implants provide.

ow are buttock implants different from a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)?

A BBL uses your own fat, harvested through liposuction, to enhance the buttocks. Buttock implants use silicone implants to provide volume and are ideal for patients with a slim body type or limited body fat. Your surgeon will recommend the most suitable option based on your anatomy and goals.

Will the implants feel natural?

Once healing is complete, buttock implants generally feel firm yet natural. The final feel depends on factors such as your body type, the implant size, and how much natural tissue covers the implant.

Will I have visible scars after buttock lift surgery?

The incision is typically placed discreetly within the natural crease between the buttocks, making the scar well concealed once healed.

How long is the recovery from buttock implant surgery?

Most patients can walk carefully within a day after surgery, although sitting directly on the buttocks should be limited for the first few weeks. Most people return to light daily activities within 2–3 weeks, while strenuous exercise is usually resumed after 6–8 weeks, depending on the surgeon's advice.

When can I sit normally after buttock implant surgery?

You'll need to avoid prolonged direct pressure on your buttocks during the early recovery period. Your surgeon may recommend using a specialised cushion when sitting, and most patients gradually return to normal sitting over several weeks.

When will I see the final results?

You'll notice an immediate increase in volume after surgery, but swelling can temporarily affect the appearance. Final results usually become visible within 3–6 months as the implants settle and the tissues heal.

How long do buttock implants last?

Buttock implants are designed to be long-lasting and do not routinely need replacing. However, like any implant, they should be monitored over time, and replacement may be necessary if complications such as rupture or displacement occur.

Can buttock implants be combined with other procedures?

Yes. Buttock implants are often combined with liposuction to improve the surrounding body contours, creating a more balanced and proportionate silhouette. In selected cases, they may also be combined with fat grafting for additional contour refinement.
